NORTH PERTH – Local business owners took advantage of a North Perth Chamber of Commerce event last week, networking with each other and sharing ideas.
NPCC general manager Sharon D’Arcey said 65 businesses were registered for the Jan. 24 Business-2-Business networking event, but additional phone calls indicated more interest with the number of businesses coming closer to 80. For the first-time event, D’Arcey said she was extremely happy with how the event went.
“We opened up the invitation and we got a good response,” she said. “It’s been really well-received.”
D’Arcey said there were over 40 new members added to the NPCC last year, and it was a perfect time for local business owners to get to know each other.
“Let’s find out who’s new and what’s new, and bring the chamber people together,” she said. “They’ll find out what’s new and meet the faces behind the businesses.”
There were several advantages to the networking event, D’Arcey said, such as meeting with local business owners and getting to know what services they offer.... Please read more in this weeks Listowel Banner
