Ray Sharpe
Ray Sharpe passed away peacefully, in the presence of his family, on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010 at the of 43.
Loved husband of Alison Rath; loving son of Carol and Keith Sharpe of Listowel and dear brother of Christine (Keith) McCluskie of Listowel.
Dear grandson of Peggy Clark of Kitchener; son-in-law of Helmut and Helga Rath of Ancaster and brother-in-law of Chris (Tina) Rath of Ancaster and Caroline Rath (Naeem) of Mississauga. Dear uncle of Quintin and Cody, Madison, Mackenzie, Danyel and Adam.
Ray’s family received relatives and friends on Thursday, Jan. 28 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, Kitchener. Memorial services were conducted in the funeral home chapel on Friday, Jan. 29 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Anne Harbridge officiating. Cremation has taken place.

Mary Cumming

Mary Cumming passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010. Mary resided in Listowel, where she was born 92 years ago. She was a daughter of the late William and Mae (Bell) Karges. Mary was a member of Atwood Presbyterian Church and a former member of the Atwood Chapter of Rebekah Lodge No. 343.
Mary was the beloved wife of the late Archie Cumming, who predeceased her in 2001; the loving mother of Wayne and Marlene Cumming of Bracebridge and Brenda and Bill Wood of London; the special grandma of Laurie (Ron), Lisa (Jim), Philip (Dalene), Pam (Brian) and Bev (Lloyd), great-grandma of Stephanie, Fallon, Andrew, Kelsey, Emma, Stephanie, Shawna, Shaelynn, Brandon, and James and great-great-grandma of Tayla, Anika and Colby.
Mary’s family invited relatives and friends to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home, Atwood (519-356-2382) on Saturday, Jan. 30 from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3 p.m. Rev. John Hogerwaard officiated. Spring interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.

Lycille Mattie Wood

At Braemar Retirement Centre on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010, Mrs. Lycille Wood of Wingham, age 80 years.
The former Lycille Ward, beloved wife of the late Clarence Wood who predeceased her in 1989. Beloved mother of Joanne and Michael Marks of Wingham, and Douglas Wood and Tammy Kramer of Chestermere, Alberta. Greatly missed by her granddaughter Nikita. Loving sister of Hilton and Jane Ward of Listowel. Sister-in-law of Muriel Ward of Listowel and Rene Ward of Kitchener.
Predeceased by her brothers Ray, Leonard, Lawson and Murray Ward, and by sisters Phyllis McTaggart and Faye McMillan.
Visitation at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Sunday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service was held at the funeral home chapel on Monday, Feb. 1 at 11 a.m. Rev. Bernard Skelding and Rev. Jeff Hawkins officiated. Spring interment in Wingham Cemetery.
