Art Brenneman
Art Brenneman of Milverton passed away peacefully at Stratford General Hospital on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010 at the age of 75. He was born in Wellesley Township, a son of the late Elmer and Edna (Leis) Brenneman. Art was a member of Poole Mennonite Church. He was a well-known livestock broker dealing with many local farmers and stockyards.
Art was the beloved husband of Dolores (Schultz) Brenneman, whom he married in 1957; loving father of Jim and Judy Brenneman of Atwood and Judy and Rod Shantz of St. Jacobs; and special grandpa of Jeremy and Bev, Justin and Pam, Scott and Nikki, Kathy and Mark.
He was the dear brother of Ken Brenneman of Milverton and brother-in-law of Twila Brenneman of Linwood. He will be fondly remembered by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Del and Judy Schultz of Waterloo, Franca Schultz of Las Vegas, Nevada, Ab and Shirley Schultz of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, Wayne and Janet Schultz of Tavistock, Ralph and Dorothy Schultz of RR 4 Stratford, Robert and Karen Schultz of Stratford, Paul and Joan Schultz of Brunner, Garry and Lorraine Schultz of Milton and by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his brother Cliff Brenneman, sister-in-law Emmalene Brenneman, stepfather Enos Zehr, brother-in-law Cliff Schultz and nephew James Brubacher.
Art’s family invited relatives and friends to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home, Atwood on Thursday, Feb. 18 from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday, Feb. 19 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Art’s life was held at Poole Mennonite Church on Saturday, Feb. 20 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Paul Dyck officiating. Interment followed in the adjoining church cemetery.

Steven Ladd
Mr. Steven Douglas Ladd of Listowel passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010 at the age of 48.
Husband of Karen (Acheson) Ladd; father of Stephanie and David Winkel of Clifford, Margaret Ladd and Dane Thompson of Listowel, Katrina Ladd of Kitchener, and Amanda Ladd of London; and grandfather of Isabella and Hermina, and Kyley and Brynne.
Son of Douglas Ladd of Drayton; brother of Rick and Sandy Ladd of Goldstone, Debbie and Elo Martin of Brussels, Laura Ladd of Harriston, and Kevin and Gayle Ladd of RR 2 Moorefield; and brother-in-law of Ronnie and Dianne Acheson of Kenilworth, Gary Acheson of Harriston, Nancy and Brian Hymers of Kinloss, Paul Acheson, and Ken Acheson, both of Wroxeter.
Predeceased by his mother Marjorie (Miller) Ladd, sister-in-law Janice Acheson, and by two brothers and one sister in infancy.
Visitation was held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Saturday, Feb. 20 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service was held at Listowel Pentecostal Church on Friday, Feb. 26 at 11 a.m. Pastor Fred Erb officiated.

Daisy Keeso
Mrs. Daisy Margaret (Neuert) Keeso of Listowel passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010 at the age of 91.
Beloved wife of the late Jack (John Hansel) Keeso, who predeceased her in 1972; dear mother of Sharon (Larry) Dowd of Milverton, and Jacqueline (Paul) McCarten, John (Sharon) Keeso, and Sandra (Nigel) Keeso-Hall, all of Toronto; grandmother of Todd (Charlene) Dowd, Timothy (Helen) Dowd, Patrick (Angela) McCarten, Strahan (Heather) McCarten, David and Jacqueline Keeso, and Andrew, Sarah and Matthew Hall; and great-grandmother of Lillie Dowd, Willa and Maggie McCarten, and Spencer and Evan Dowd.
Predeceased by her sister Vernetta Market, and by her brothers Stanley and Hartley Neuert.
A memorial service was held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Listowel on Monday, Feb. 22 at 1:30 p.m. Daisy’s family will honour her request to be cremated and laid to rest beside her beloved Jack in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of one’s choice will be much appreciated.
