On Saturday, Feb. 20 the Listowel Peewee AE Cyclones defeated the Midland Centennials by a score of 2-0 to win the quarter final series three games to one.
Jacob Nethercott’s stellar goaltending and great defensive play from the entire team kept Midland off the scoreboard for the entire game.
Scoring the Cyclones’ first goal was Riley Thompson with assists from Tyler Russell and Austin Service. The Cyclones’ second goal was scored by Russell, unassisted.
The Cyclones will now take on the Port Perry Predators in the OMHA all-Ontario semifinals.
